Jennifer is a mother of four, married to her college Sweetheart, she came in for a portrait session as a surprise for her husband for their 20th anniversary. During the photo shoot, I showed Jennifer the back of my camera a few different times. Every time she saw a photograph, she was absolutely beside herself. She couldn’t believe the woman in those images was her. And I literally watch something shift. Each time she saw herself, she became a little more enthusiastic, a little more confident, and she glowed just a little bit more!
A week later, after Jennifer selected her favorite portraits, and she sent me an email: This started out as something I wanted to do for Doug, but ended up being something I didn't even know I needed for myself.
Seeing a little of what he sees when he looks at me, loving myself behind the camera AND having so much damn fun doing it!
